麦园社区是福建省福州市仓山区仓前街道下辖的社区，英华小礼堂、美志楼等近代建筑位于社区内。社区名称来自清代乾隆年间此处的麦田。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

乾隆年间，久已荒芜的梅林丘地被开垦为麦地，麦田连片，遂以此为名。[1]

1983年，乐群居委会分出一部分设立麦园居委会；2002年区划有过调整。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

英华小礼堂位于福州高级中学校内，又称「力礼堂」或英华礼拜堂，与美国美以美会传教士力为廉夫妇有关。[1]

美志楼位于福州高级中学内，建于清末。它原属鹤龄英华书院的建筑群，该书院即如今福建师大附中的前身。楼名为纪念该书院第二任校长施美志而取。[1]
