茶亭街道位于福州市台江区北部，东面以五一中路为界，西面隔茶亭河与上海街道相望，北面以东西河与鼓楼区为邻，南面一带接国货西路。[1][6]

街道的名称取自辖区内的茶亭。一种说法是，有僧人在此建亭煮茶供行人歇脚，之后周边陆续开起小店，渐成街市。[2][3] 街道以茶亭街的老手工业、乐器店和国家级非物质文化遗产「茶亭十番音乐」而为人所知。[2][9]

历史沿革[edit]

茶亭街的手工业历史悠久，店铺以裁缝剪刀、厨师菜刀和理发剃刀为主，俗称“三把刀”，此外还有乐器、角梳、五金等行业的老店。据台江区人民政府网的介绍，福州的角梳业发源于茶亭，街上一度有十余家百年老店。[2]

明清时期，街上已有多家茶馆，其中“一团轩”“第一亭”“茗一春”等较有名气。[6]

街道于1955年5月设立。[5]

1990年，茶亭街拆除两侧木屋，改建为钢筋混凝土骑楼，沿街随即开设了380多家商店；2006年，街道又进行了全面改造。[2]

1996年1月市里调整行政区划：状元居委会自鼓楼区划入，原福州郊区洪山镇的高桥村并入；斗中、西营里、福中、九福庵4个居委会改归鼓楼区，河口、吉祥2个居委会改归洋中街道，又新设金洋、水松2个居委会。[4]

到2000年12月，街道共有16个居委会和高桥村委会，其中包括阳光、群众、洋头等居委会。[4]

2006年，辖区居委会整合为六个社区；2014年8月，再整合为阳光、福德、广安、洋头口四个社区居委会。[4]

地理环境[edit]

辖区内的干道有八一七路、国货路和广达路等，地铁1号线贯穿辖区并设有茶亭站，长途汽车南站和仁德公交总站也位于街道内。[1][6]

街道内驻有市民服务中心、疾病控制中心等市直机关单位，老干部部门也设在这里。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

茶亭庵据载始建于明代，庵内设有戏坪，两侧有酒楼。[3]

茶亭庵四角亭原位于茶亭街茶亭小学门口，据推测是清代嘉庆年间茶亭庵的遗构，属木结构。2007年茶亭街拆迁时，它被落架移至汀州会馆保存。[3][7]

茶亭公园在广达路166号，1986年建成，经2007至2010年间的改造扩建，面积约5.87公顷（88亩）。公园以荷花为主题，自1998年起每年夏季办荷花展，平日免费开放。[8]

文化[edit]

「茶亭十番音乐」以狼杖、锣、钹等打击乐器配合笛子、逗管、椰胡等管弦乐器，多用于迎神赛会与婚丧嫁娶等民俗活动的伴奏。[9]

“老天华”乐器店在茶亭街创立，原名天华斋，始于清嘉庆六年（1801年）。清末时其产品曾在巴拿马万国乐器展览会获得二等奖，并销往日本和东南亚。[2][10]

2009年5月，「福州老天华乐器制作技艺」被列为福建省省级非物质文化遗产。[10]
