沈村村是戴村镇西南部的行政村，属半山区，七都溪沿村而过。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，沈氏祖先于南宋初年从外地迁居杭州，后隐居此地繁衍成村，故称沈村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元至元十六年，这里属七都三图；清雍正年间称沈村庄。20世纪50年代初村属云石乡，1961年改称云石公社下的沈村大队。[1]1984年才定名沈村村，仍属云石乡，2001年7月起划入戴村镇。[1]

人物与荣誉[edit]

近代教师沈佩兰生于1903年，卒于1954年，是沈村人。[2]

2022年10月，村庄上榜2022年淘宝村名单；2021年12月被命名为「2021年浙江省3A级景区村庄」；2021年5月被命名为「萧山区2020年度“平安村（社区）”」。[1]据2025年政府工作报告，沈村村文化礼堂获评「浙江省金牌五星级文化礼堂」。[3]
