光明村位于杭州市新规划的空港新城内，在靖江街道东北部。[1][2]村子东边隔河与党湾镇为界，南面紧邻东桥村，西面是甘露村，北面与协谊村隔河对望。[1]

名称由来[edit]

村名取「曙光」之意。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年5月后，此地属太平乡第七村，合作化时曾建曙光农业社。公社化时此地称联庄大队，之后改称光明大队，归甘露公社。[4]

1984年设立村委会，隶属甘露乡；之后1992年划入靖江镇，2009年9月起归靖江街道管辖。[4]

人口[edit]

全村农户341户，设13个村民小组，人口1774人，包括本村村民1423人和外来人口351人。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积1平方公里，内外耕地1490余亩。村地属东部沙土平原，农业以小麦、水稻和油菜为主。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2004年，村被区委区政府评为「新农村建设整治村」；2008年，获「新农村建设竞赛活动」优胜单位称号。[2]
