五联村位于新塘街道中部，东邻和平桥村与朱家坛村，南面隔杭甬铁路与浙东村相望，西与西许村相连，北靠萧绍路，03省道东复线从东侧穿过。[2][3]

名称[edit]

村名取自所辖的五个自然村，即单家埭、庵前胡、南沿埭、本村胡与池头胡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

20世纪30年代，此地归五都七图与三图管辖。1949年5月以后，属新朱乡。1949年10月设农会，1954年后，单家埭等地共设三个农业社。[4]

1957年10月，合并组成华东农业社；1958年10月改称华东大队；1964年12月组建五联大队。1984年2月定名城东乡五联村，1992年划入城厢镇。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月，2021年10月与2022年10月，五联村先后三次上榜淘宝村名单。[1]

2021年5月，村获得萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）称号。[1]
