湖山社区位于湘湖腹地，前身为湖山村。社区2005年6月由湖山村转制而来，2021年由转制社区转为城市社区。据2022年的社区概况，居住总人口6858人，区域面积21.56公顷。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年5月后，此地由三个自然村并为一体。1949年8月设农会，建国初隶属石岩乡。1955年，此地组织起建新等四个农业社，至1957年合为湖山高级农业生产合作社。[3]

进入人民公社时期，改称湖山生产大队；1981年恢复为大队管委会，1984年改称村民委员会，仍属石岩乡。2001年7月后，此地归蜀山街道管辖。[3]

2005年5月，湖山村撤销，建立湖山社区居民委员会。[3]

社区概况[edit]

2009年，为配合湘湖二期开发建设，社区整村拆迁。2017年6月，安置小区湖山春晓家园落成入住。[2]

据2022年社区概况，辖区范围以蜀山路为东界，晨晖路为南界，风情大道为西界，朝晖大道为北界。社区管有5个小区，分别是湖山春晓家园南区与北区、广仁小区，以及南润名座、坤元中心。在住居民2365户，其中常住者3129名，另有党员140名、居民代表50名。[2]

2021年5月，社区被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」。[1]

2023年，社区「省级民主法治村」获批。[4]
