历史沿革[edit]
1955年这一带先设了14个农业初级社；次年并为江边乡第二高级农业生产合作社，其名称缩写为“江二社”。1958年，此地改为长河人民公社江二生产大队。[1]
1984年起称长河乡江二村民委员会，此后隶属关系几经变化：1985年属萧山县长河镇，1996年属杭州市长河镇，1997年属杭州市滨江区长河镇。2003年，它改称长河街道江二村民委员会。此后于2005年撤村建居，设立江二社区。[1]
村落的形成可追溯到明末清初：1644年前后，沙涂渐次扩展，沙民逐渐增多。至清道光四年（1824年），圈地围垦的规模变大，村域里陆续出现以“圩”“园”“里”为名的村落。1999年确定的村落有15个，随着城市化推进，这些村落的地名已成为历史地名。[1]
