2002年，板桥、张家弄、丁家桥、余家畈四个村合并为板桥村。村名的来历是村中集市中央曾有一座石板桥。[2]

产业与荣誉[edit]

村内以农业为主，「周浦牌」生态甲鱼养殖是其代表产品。2020年12月，板桥村列入「2020年浙江省卫生村」名单。[1]

2021年10月，板桥村列入「2021年淘宝村」名单；2022年10月，又列入「2022年淘宝村」名单。[1]
