范家社区位于杭城东部，前身为范家村村民委员会。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区以驻地得名。《梦粱录》所列城东九桥中有范家桥，《艮山杂志》称城东太平乡的范家桥相传为南齐范元琰的旧迹，村以桥名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区原为范家行政村，村里辖有9个自然村。范姓在杭州曾位居望族之列。[4]

这一年的6月19日完成撤村建居，它属于杭州第二批撤村建居的社区；博雅地名网的地名列表则记为2000年。[2][3]
