2007年成立的兰苑社区属迁入型，由兰苑、竹苑、荷苑三个小区组成。东侧临机场路一巷，董家社区与之接壤，西侧临尧典桥路。[1]

社区名称取自三里新城组团之一的命名，以兰花的高雅、圣洁为寓意。[1]
