南星街道位于浙江省杭州市上城区西南部，东南与南面沿钱塘江中心线同滨江区的长河、浦沿两个街道隔江相望，西南、西与西湖区西湖街道交界，北面与清波街道相连，东北与紫阳街道毗邻。境内有南宋皇城遗址，又有南宋皇家籍田八卦田遗址。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

快懂百科称此地古称柳浦。1954年，这里设立南星桥、海月桥、闸口等街道，隶属江干区；1957年，闸口与海月桥两街道并为化仙桥街道。1962年复置南星桥街道，1968年改称南星街道。[2]

1996年，原南星街道辖美政、钱江、钱航等13个居委会和木材家委会，面积2.5平方千米，人口2.4万人；闸口街道辖15个居委会，面积2.3平方千米，人口1.9万人。[2]

南星、闸口两地，连同四季青镇的玉皇村，于1997年1月1日由江干区改属上城区。[2][1]

玉皇行政村于1999年撤销。2000年和2001年，两街道的居民区陆续改为社区。[2]

2003年，南星、闸口两个街道撤销，重新设立南星街道；原南星街道的新工、凤凰两个社区划入紫阳街道。[2][1] 同年，街道内的社区经重新设置，形成今天的8个社区。[2]

地理环境[edit]

街道北部与中部有凤凰山、玉皇山两座山丘。馒头山社区西至凤凰山，玉皇山社区北靠玉皇山。[6][5]

关于面积，快懂百科作4.31平方千米（2018年），博雅地名网作约4.31平方公里，百度百科则作8.53平方千米，未注明年份。[2][4][1]

第七次全国人口普查数据显示，截至2020年，街道常住人口为52528人。[2] 维基百科另载为46294人，未注明统计年份。[3] 百度百科引用2011年末的数据，统计总人口为35797人，此外另有2.22万名流动人口。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

馒头山社区位于南宋皇城遗址凤凰山脚路一带，梵天寺经幢即在辖区内，是全国重点文物保护单位。[6][7]

梵天寺经幢位于凤凰山东麓梵天寺路。据维基百科，这座经幢立于北宋乾德三年（965年），由吴越国王钱俶在重建南塔寺时修建，原属梵天讲寺的遗物。2001年，它被列为第五批全国重点文物保护单位。[7]

八卦田遗址是南宋皇家籍田的遗址，位于玉皇山社区一带，设有遗址公园。[5][8]

古井名录所列南星街道内的古井共11口，其中馒头山社区7口，白塔岭社区2口，紫花埠社区与玉皇山社区各1口。中河南段南星古泉为市、县级文物保护单位。[9]
