历洞村是历洞镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区范围内。村名原作“力洞”，建村之初道路不通，物资需人力抬运，后以“历”字谐“力”音，村名遂定为历洞。^[2]^[3]

村子始建于1521年，龙姓迁居木山龙家坪，是镇内较早形成的村落。^[1]^[3]

历史沿革[edit]

村中现有谢、莫、范、林、张、吴、杨、陶八姓，莫姓最多，约占全村58%。^[1]^[3]

民国时期属七区裕宁乡，1949年后划入四区。1958年成为东风人民公社下的历洞生产大队；1983年村里改设乡人民政府，1987年转为村委会，1989年一度设管理区办事处，1999年又恢复村委会。^[3]

村内建有革命烈士纪念碑，2023年9月，镇里组织祭扫。^[4]

每年正月，村里举行烧炮活动：村民组成巡游队伍走遍村道，在田间的炮台上放出一只“丁财炮圈”，炮圈被气流炸向高空后，村民争相抢夺，以求新一年平安顺遂。据报道，此俗已有数百年历史。^[5]

村民以农林业为主，产木材、肉桂和砂糖桔。^[1]

2019年10月，村庄入选2019年广东省卫生村名录；2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。^[2]

省乡村振兴局在2022年1月公布，历洞村是2021年度「广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2023年4月，历洞村又名列2022年该类创建单位的公布名单。^[2]
