据博雅地名网，此地地形狭窄，像一条小径，东西向延伸，村落位于尾端，村名由此而来。[1]
沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，1983年此地为径尾乡，1987年为径尾管理区；1999年，东源县政府同意成立径尾村委会；2004年，七坑村归并进来，此名沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
径尾村在2021年12月被广东省爱卫会评为“2021年广东省卫生村”。[1]
