名胜古迹[edit]
鹤塘村战斗遗址位于村中。一支由国民党保五团一个营与兴宁廖颂尧缉私队组成的队伍，于1948年11月29日沿东江运送军需物资，前往蓝口与老隆；船队到达鹤塘村时，对方早已在岸边设伏。[1] 东源县的文物名录把它列为东江游击队战斗遗址，级别为未定级。[3]
经济[edit]
黄田矿泉水位于村内沸湖自然村，经国家部门化验属碳氢偏硅酸矿泉。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
建置上，1958年为大队，1983年为乡，1987年为管理区，1999年起设村委会，至今未变。[1]
2019年10月，鹤塘村入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。[1]
