池田村位于东源县曾田镇，是镇下辖的行政村，村子处在曾田一带的西北边缘。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子在曾田西北边缘，地势较高，山高水冷，稻田收成比迟；「迟」与「池」读音相同，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子先在1958年成为大队，1983年改称乡，1987年改为管理区，1999年经县政府批准才设立村委会，此后沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，池田村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
