村名[edit]
据传，此地早先为政、黄两姓的居住地，村名中的“江”取自黄氏的堂号江夏堂。[1]
红色遗存[edit]
黄觉群故居位于仙寨，百度百科称其为清代建筑。黄觉群（1879—1943年）原名秉杰，别字俊平，化名日安，就是本村人。他早年在广州从事工运，先后加入社会主义青年团和中国共产党；1925年10月，他随第二次东征军返回龙川，组织工农群众开展斗争，并担任中共龙川特支书记、县农民协会主席等职。[1][2][3]
龙川第一个农会旧址塘耙屋也在本村。博雅地名网记载，1924年7月，第一届广州农民运动讲习所开学，来自龙川黄布的黄超凡入所学习，毕业后被任命为国民党中央农民部特派员。[1]
2023年，镇里在本村推进红色村连片示范项目，完成了仙寨乡苏维埃旧址的布展，并建成乡镇党校、党建公园，以及古村落环境提升二期工程。[4]
产业与规划[edit]
镇政府2024年工作计划提出，要继续推进本村的百合园项目，挖掘百合文化，完善后期配套，把村子建成集采摘、观赏、休闲于一体的旅游村。[4]
2026年批准的镇域国土空间规划以本村为主组建红色文旅示范组团，村庄属一般村。[5]
