凤坪村别称凤坪畲族村，隶属广东省梅州市丰顺县潭江镇，是镇里的畲族聚居村，梅州市唯一有畲族聚居的乡镇由此而来^[2]。1961年从箭竹洋大队分出立为凤坪大队，现以茶叶种植为主业^[1]^[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地地势高、风大，村外有一块石磜，原名「风吹磜」。建政时嫌这名字字义不好，1961年从箭竹洋大队分出时，改用美好的名称，定为凤坪大队；1999年称凤坪村委会^[1]。

村在潭江镇东部、凤凰山脉北麓，离县城115公里，地处高寒山区，村内最高处鸡公髻山，海拔1409米，村分4个村民小组、2个自然村^[2]。

百度百科记，全村156户、950人，畲族占107户、608人，通行畲语，被视为畲族祖居地，畲族文化保存较为完好^[2]。同一条目的信息栏则写全村142户800多人，两处数字不一致。

村里以种茶为主，种茶史可上溯400多年，茶园面积1.3万亩；2022年干茶产量43万斤，产值超过5800万元^[2]。2020年8月，凤坪村以茶叶列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村^[1]。

2020年12月，凤坪村入选第一批广东省少数民族特色村寨；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村^[1]。
