历史沿革[edit]
最初在1952年设埔北乡，五年后与南乡合并成埔寨乡；中间还当过埔寨营和汤南公社的一片，1961年成为埔北大队，1984年恢复为乡，1987年改称管理区，1999年才有了埔北村委会。村名因村委会在埔北境内而来。[1]
人口经济[edit]
村辖9个村民小组，在册1447户，户籍9367人，面积15平方公里，耕地3500亩。[1][2]以水稻为主，兼种青枣、龙眼、桔子，也有畜禽和水产养殖。[2]据百度百科，2024年村集体经济收入在10万元以上。[2]
荣誉[edit]
埔北村在2012年12月被收入首批中国传统村落名录；2019年又被评为省级民主法治示范村；2026年3月成为广东省「百千万工程」第三批典型村镇。[1][2]
