阅江社区是广东省肇庆市端州区城东街道辖下的社区居委会，辖区内有阅江楼，社区以楼名得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1980年12月，社区经端州区人民政府批准设立。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
阅江楼位于端州区正东路、西江北岸，今辟作叶挺独立团团部旧址纪念馆。楼所在的石头岗，南宋隆兴年间曾建石头庵，明宣德六年（1431年）改为嵩台书院，崇祯十四年（1641年）由两广总督张镜心改建并定名“阅江楼”。1925年国民革命军第四军十二师三十四团（叶挺独立团）在此成立，1962年被公布为广东省级文物保护单位，2019年10月入选第八批全国重点文物保护单位。[2]
荣誉[edit]
社区名列2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」，名单于2019年9月公布。[1]
