莞塘村是广东省化州市石湾街道下辖的行政村，位于街道办驻地的东北部。据博雅地名网，全村设20个村民小组，在册1237户、5551人，总面积10.21平方千米，耕地3502亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年以前为莞塘乡；1952年土地改革时分设莞塘、堆金两乡。1958年归莞塘公社，下设红星、堆金两个生产队，1962年两队合并，称莞塘大队。1983年称莞塘乡，1987年2月设村民委员会，1989年改叫管理区办事处。[1]
