岭圩村的前身在1953年为岭圩乡，1958年改作生产大队；1983年恢复乡的建制，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年曾改称管理区，1999年重新称村委会，延用至今。[1]

- 2023年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
