木苏村是电白区沙院镇所辖的行政村，也是镇人民政府的驻地。木苏在1953年立乡，1958年改为生产大队，1983年复称乡，1987年称村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年再称村委会，沿用至今。2021年底，它得到广东省爱卫会颁发的「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
