古张原名张村管理区，1987年6月由顿标管理区划出，改称古张管理区；1999年成立古张村委会。茂南区政府有关袂花镇改设村民委员会的批复文号为茂南府函〔1994〕24号。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2021年12月，广东省爱卫会公布2021年度广东省卫生村，该村在列。[1]
