金塘村是广东省茂名市茂南区金塘镇所辖的行政村，村委会设在金塘圩，村名由此而来，属镇乡结合区[1]。1958年设金塘大队，1983年改称金塘乡人民政府，1987年成立村民委员会，1989年改称金塘管理区，1999年又改称金塘村村民委员会，名称沿用至今[1]。
