林口村是湛江市坡头区南调街道下辖的行政村，1959年从麻西大队分出，成为独立的大队。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这一带原是麻西乡（1954年）、麻西营（1958年）的一部分，1959年麻西营撤营改队时一分为二，林口作为其中一队，归坡头公社。[1]后来的名称依次是：林口乡（1983年）、林口村委会（1987年）、林口管理区（1990年），1999年起称林口村民委员会。[1]1985年10月起，林口属南调街道。[1]
荣誉[edit]
林口村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」（2019年9月公布），又在2023年11月入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」。[1]
