历史文化[edit]
篁庄的欧阳氏宗祠始建于清康熙年间，距今三百多年，由养浩祠、太守欧阳公祠和右粤欧阳公祠三座建筑组成。[1]仁寿里另有文林郎欧阳公祠，同样有三百多年历史，近年翻新后改作餐厅。[1]祠内设有蔡李佛拳博物馆，陈列相关文物两千多件。[1]
1933年5月下旬，作家巴金在陈洪有（时任西江乡村师范学校校长）陪同下来到篁庄，住了三天后前往新会，写成《鸟的天堂》《农民的集会》；同年6月他在广州写下记篁庄和西江乡师见闻的《庶务室的生活》。[1]
经济与建设[edit]
篁庄经联社对叶坑、沙冲围、群华、桐乐四个工业园的部分产业做结构调整，并把老建筑活化为餐饮场所，形成“篁庄食街”。[1]社区还绘制了包括“篁庄八景”在内的墙体彩绘，面积470平方米。[1]百度百科称，社区在2025年获评第七届全国文明单位。[2]
