粤桂社区是深圳市南山区粤海街道下辖的社区，由粤海门村和桂庙新村两处旧村组成，东起科技南一路，西至南海大道，南起学府路，北到深圳大学围墙，面积约0.5平方千米；社区名各取原粤海门居委会和桂庙居委会的首字。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
粤海门、桂庙两个居委会合并，是在2001年10月，由此成立了粤桂社区居委会。[1]
桂庙新村是南山区最早立村的村落之一，清代建村，又称红花园村，村名由「龟庙」演变而来。清初迁海，村民祖先被迫迁往东莞，康熙八年（1669年）复界后迁回。[1][2]1939年日军修建军用机场，村民被迫迁到栗树村，抗战胜利后回迁，栗树村改称桂庙新村；1992年农村城市化改革时，成立南岗实业股份公司。[2]
粤海门村原名麻癞窝，村民为客家人，主要姓氏张、江。村子1941年11月遭日军焚烧，村民于1948年返回重建；1983年修建深圳大学时，七成土地被征用，村民在原址另建新村。[3]
人口与居住[edit]
据博雅地名网，社区约有户籍居民410人，另有约12000名暂住者；桂庙新村内有25栋深圳大学宿舍楼，约5000名学生在此租住。[1]百度百科的两个村条目另载，2015年末桂庙新村户籍人口157人，粤海门村88人。[2][3]
城市更新[edit]
桂庙新村的城市更新单元进了2015年深圳市城市更新单元计划的第三批，规划建筑面积合计36.9万平方米；2022年5月，街道办事处就其历史违建物业的权利人核实情况发出第一批公示。[2][4]
