历史沿革[edit]
莲花二村由深圳市住宅局开发，1989年10月动工，1991年4月起住户陆续迁入，地点在莲花山公园东边。[2]因位于莲花山东侧，取“莲花”二字，按序号称二村。[2]莲花二村居委会设于1993年，2002年改为社区居委会，名称未变。[2]
辖区情况[edit]
据社区党委页面，辖区约8000人，常住6190人；楼宇为多层46栋、高层2栋；辖区内的机构有两家机关事业单位（住房保障署和建设科技促进中心），以及莲花中学、莲花二村幼儿园、莲花二村社康中心和惠民街市。[1]莲花二村社区在2022年8月入选「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」名单。[2]
