历史沿革[edit]
社区的前身是笋岗村民委员会，1992年农村城市化时改称居委会，2002年再改称现名。[2]在2022年8月认定的深圳市第二批绿色（宜居）社区里，笋岗社区名列其中。[2]
地理环境[edit]
社区的东面是深圳火车北站，西面连着笋岗仓库区，田心村在它北面，桃花园在南面。[2]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网（未注年份）记有9150户、18500人，建筑物217栋，多数居民是笋岗原住村民。[2]
经济[edit]
驻在辖区的有笋岗街道办事处、笋岗小学、太阳升幼儿园，以及集体经济组织笋岗实业股份有限公司。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
元勋旧址又称笋岗老围，是笋岗何氏为纪念先祖何真而建的围屋，占地4265平方米，围内有140间房、3口水井。1988年7月定为深圳市级文物保护单位，2002年7月被广东省人民政府公布为省级文物保护单位。[3][4]围内的土地庙与围外的天后宫都在1999年重建。[3]
