1958年为雷家窝大队，1983年设乡政府，1987年改村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年重设村委会，直至今日。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，雷家窝村获评「2023年广东省卫生村」；2026年3月，入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
