历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立后属大桥乡；1957年大桥乡自周田区析出另设大桥区，共和也归大桥区管。1958年编入大桥大队，1961年分出，成为共和大队；其后1984年改乡，1987年设村委会，1989年改管理区，1998年起称大桥村委会，沿用至今。[1]
据仁化县人民政府网站对大桥镇的介绍，共和村建有屋顶光伏项目，用来增加村集体收入。[2]
