石溪村与城中村改造[edit]
2025年海珠区政府批复的石溪村城中村改造实施方案，对村的现状作了统计：改造范围北临江南大道南，南到珠江后航道，东起瑞宝路，西抵石岗路，总用地约101.44公顷；户籍人口7270人，3204户；现状总建筑面积172.00万平方米。[2]方案由石溪经济联合社作改造主体，采用全面改造的方式，并决定保留何善衡祖居和劬劳小学两处不可移动文物。[2]

2024年11月，石溪社区获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
著名人物[edit]
博雅地名网把清代书法家黄子高（1794年生）、书法家李天马（1908—1990）和曾在小学任教、后来投身革命的何君侠（1913—1989）列为与瑞宝街道相关的人物，三人原籍都在石溪一带，当时属番禺县，后属新滘镇。黄子高字叔立，号石溪，工小篆，1830年应南海试；李天马早年读私塾，专攻古典文学，由其父教习书法。[3][4]
