沙涌南社区是广州市越秀区矿泉街道下辖的社区，前身是沙涌南村，成立居委会后沿用了村名，是矿泉街道三条自然村之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958至1986年，村子归三元里人民公社的瑶台大队管理。沙涌南居委会设于1988年，起初属郊区的矿泉街道，后来属白云区；2005年8月起，社区改隶越秀区。[1]
文化[edit]
沙涌南村的祠堂庙会在每年农历正月十三举行。2025年的庙会上，三支狮队从乐耕陈公祠开始采青，再到大夫葵轩陈公祠和几个经济合作社，下午在村内巡游，傍晚有文体广场的舞狮、武术表演，夜里设祠堂宴。[2]乐耕陈公祠始建于明代，清代重修，占地约300平方米，二进一天井，仍用于添灯、婚嫁、满月和老人庆寿等事。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，社区被确定为「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2022年8月又成为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
