澳口社区属荔湾区南源街道，位于西关平原北部澳口涌的出口处，因辖内有澳口涌而得名，古称「戙船澳」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科所述，这里形成于宋末元初。2002年从南源街道第十三居委会分出，成立社区，沿用此名。[1]博雅地名网说明，当年第十三居委会拆成澳口和荔港南湾两个居委会。[3]
文化[edit]
社区保留农历三月三的北帝诞村庆。[1]2024年11月，澳口社区居委会与南岸社区居委会等共同主办了南源街道文化市集。[2]辖内的澳口长寿乐园兼作活动场地，也是荔湾区首个社区侨胞之家。[1]
