三等村是广东省东莞市高埗镇下辖的村，位于镇域北部，距镇中心约2千米，总面积0.6平方千米。与之相邻的自然村为熊屋村、苏屋村、沙涌村与犂峡村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据百度百科，明正德十五年（1520年）村址上有三座高墩，故名三墩。后因「等」与「墩」音近，且「三等」寓意排名靠前，遂改称三等村。[1]
行政隶属[edit]
1958年之后，此村先后归属石龙与石碣两个人民公社。1987年并入高埗镇的三联管理区，1999年才确定现在的隶属关系。[1]
交通与设施[edit]
村中的水电与网络陆续接通：1959年通电，1984年接入自来水，1999年接入互联网。省道S256线从村边经过。[1]
村里有社区综合服务中心和文化广场，图书阅览室的藏书为5000余册，村内仍保留22座广府传统民居。[1]
人物[edit]
烈士刘贺年（1926—1944）为村中的代表性人物，1944年5月在高埗稍潭的一次战斗中牺牲。[1]
