金充村的地名始于1549年，当时甘姓人在茶山口一带的坑涌地带建村，地名称甘涌，后以谐音改称金充，寓意财富充足。2026年1月，该村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立的加益公社设有金充大队，1961年扶合公社辖有金充大队。[2]

1983年改为金充乡，归扶合区管辖；1986年改称金充村委会，1989年又改为管理区，1999年才恢复村委会之名。[2]

2019年9月，金充村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2019年10月，金充村入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。[1]
