垌旺村在龙湾镇北面，村名因境内的一座垌旺庙而来。2021年9月，该村列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为南药。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立公社时，垌旺属加益公社扶合大队；1961年，该大队中另设出垌旺大队，归扶合公社。[2]

1983年改为垌旺乡，归扶合区管辖；1986年改称垌旺村委会，1989年又改为管理区，1999年才恢复村委会之名。[2]
