灵凡村是加益镇的一个行政村，村子在镇域东部，离镇政府约9公里，紧邻省道S352，共有12个自然村[1]。村名得自辖区内遍生的药用植物“冷饭头”和村中的灵凡庙，二者读音相近，故称灵凡[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

最早来此定居的是王氏先人，分别自石头村湾角村与双益村迁入；其后黄、陈、李、韦、赖、温等姓陆续到来，1901年董氏先人世荣公又自黎少横岗迁入[2]。建国初这里设灵凡乡，1957年随郁南县第七区并入罗定，成为加益区的灵凡乡。1958年先建灵凡合作社，同年加益公社下设灵凡大队；1961年大队并入他处，1974年重新设立。1983年改为乡，1986年成为村委会，1989年改为管理区，1999年又回到村委会的名称[2][3]。
