和合村的村名取自行政村始设时的寓意：村内四姓人家、十四个村落相处和睦、和气合作。黄氏始祖维仕于1608年从青桐村迁来，是村内最早的村落。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

黄氏始祖维仕于1608年从青桐村迁到和合村落户，是村内最早的村落。1633年，李氏始祖韩信从都门迁入。今有黄、李、谭、许等5姓，黄姓占75%。[1][2]

1974年7月，和合归入新设的都门公社（由泗纶公社分出），成为其中的和合大队。1983年并入其他行政村级乡，划归都门区；1986年改为村民委员会，1989年设管理区，1999年复称村委会，当时属都门镇。2003年，都门镇并入泗纶镇，和合村委会的设置未作改动。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，和合村进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
