松南村因辖区大部分位于山松村以南而得名。前身的大队原名山松，1974年改称松南，此后一直沿用。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

韦氏始祖象麒于1717年从罗定黎少迁到山松村，是村内最早的村落。1790年，张氏始祖爵彬从泗纶新城高架村迁来。今有张、沈、赖、王等15姓，张姓占25%。[1][2]

1961年，此地以山松大队的名义归泗纶公社管辖。1974年7月，该大队更名为松南大队。1983年8月改设松南乡，1986年11月改为村民委员会，1989年设管理区，1999年复称村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，松南村进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2019年10月，松南村被收入2019年广东省「卫生村」名录。另在2023年5月，由广东省爱卫会确认，松南村内一批自然村获得2022年广东省「卫生村」称号。[1]
