分会村的名称取自1961年从杨绿大队分出、单独设立大队时所用的名字。村内的分会坑口岩画是罗定市的文物保护单位，南木垌村有粤中纵队第四支队司令部旧址。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，分会属杨绿乡，1958年公社化后归泗纶公社杨绿生产大队。1961年分出独立的大队，定名为分会。1983年设分会乡，隶泗纶区；1986年改为村民委员会，1989年设管理区，1998年9月撤管理区，恢复为村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

分会坑口岩画位于村委北面约13公里、粤桂交界的火窑岗山溪畔。两侧岩块高十余米，当地称作「公婆石」，石上刻有人像、星座与动物图案，据推断是石器时代的遗迹，2011年2月列为罗定市第四批文物保护单位。[2]

粤中纵队第四支队司令部旧址在南木垌村，属近现代重要史迹，为第五批罗定市（县）级文物保护单位。[2]
