胜乐村的村名是前身设立时经县政府批准所定的行政村专名，此后一直沿用。村内以胡姓人口最多。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

潘氏始祖义安于1596年由新丰县迁入高寨村，是村内最早的村落。1656年，胡氏始祖光南从罗定县罗城柑园前村的胡屋迁来，陈、肖等姓随后也到此定居。今村中共15姓，胡姓约占七成。[1][2]

1958年初，此地所在区域划为泗纶与高寨两乡，胜乐乡改为合作社，归高寨乡辖。同年9月公社化，设胜乐生产大队。1983年成立胜乐乡，1986年改为村民委员会，1989年改设管理区，1999年复为村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，胜乐村进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2021年9月，胜乐村列为第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，专业为优质稻。[1]
