历史沿革[edit]
吴氏始祖迁入定居，形成村中最早的村落，此后彭、苏等姓陆续迁来。现有吴、彭、苏、李、石、陈、郭等姓，吴姓为最大姓。[1][2]
1958年公社化后，本地隶属罗城公社，不久改归素龙公社。1961年6月，村域自一个生产大队中分出，设为双脉大队，并划归新设的生江公社，「双脉」之名由此沿用。1983年，大队改为双脉乡，归生江区管辖。1986年取消乡一级，成立村民委员会；1989年改设管理区。[2]
文化与名胜[edit]
引泗水利交通大桥位于双脉村，1960年建成，属引泗工程的配套建筑，俗称生江反虹吸桥。水从桥底以反虹吸方式通过，桥面供车辆与行人通行，是生江跨越泷江的主要通道。全桥宽4米，主体长165米，反虹吸管段长232.6米，为三孔拱式结构，每孔跨径32米。它被认为是罗定20世纪60年代规模最大的渠道附属建筑，在水利与桥梁结合上有其首创意义。该桥于2011年2月14日被列为「罗定市第四批文物保护单位」。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，双脉村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」称号。2023年11月，村被命名为「第五批云浮市民主法治示范村（社区）」。2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把双脉村定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。2019年9月，双脉村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
