历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化后，本村属黎少公社下的榃兵生产大队。1961年生江公社设立时，榃兵大队中划出若干自然村另组成八和大队。1983年大队撤销，并入榃兵乡，归生江区管辖。1986年，从榃兵分出，设立八和村民委员会；1989年改为管理区；1998年9月起恢复为八和村民委员会。[1]
