隆久村位于镇政府西部约3公里处，沿352省道荔朱线一带，辖隆久、榃耀、黎少、横垌、三达等自然村。[2]

村名取自村址旁一座平地隆起的山包：清代谭氏族人定居于此，取兴隆昌盛、长久繁荣之意，因而称隆久。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

谭氏始祖清代迁来，形成村中最早的村落，此后苏、廖等姓陆续迁入。[1][3]1958年公社化后设隆久生产大队，隶属黎少公社；1983年改设隆久乡，归黎少区管辖；1986年改设村民委员会，1989年改设管理区，1999年复称隆久村委会。[3]

村里农业以水稻为主，兼种荔枝、龙眼、黄皮等经济作物。[2]
