思甲村是榃滨镇的行政村，村名沿用自明清时期这一带的思甲水之称。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地过去有思甲河，明清两代人们把这片地方叫作思甲水；新中国成立后，这个名称又被用来命名乡和村。[1]

1958年公社化后，本村并入榃滨公社的一个生产大队；1959年另设思甲大队。1983年改设思甲乡，归榃滨区；1986年改为村委会，1989年一度设管理区，1999年恢复思甲村民委员会名称。[1]

1993年获认定为革命老区。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2019年10月，本村入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予本村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
