六云村是榃滨镇的行政村。建国初在此设乡时，乡名取自辖区内几个村名中的字，后来沿用为村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1617年，雷氏先人念宇公自西宁县都城镇迁来，成为本村委最早落居的一支。[2]
公社化时期，此处归榃滨公社，名为六云生产大队。1961年一度拆分为若干大队，1974年7月复又合为六云大队。1983年改设六云乡，1986年改为村委会，1989年设管理区，1999年恢复村委会名称。[2]
