金滩村是榃滨镇的行政村，村内以张氏聚居的金滩寨为主，以肉桂、松脂为主导产业。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原由最早的开发者李姓取名甘滩，李姓后迁走。1567年，张氏始祖韶英公自英德迁入，认为这里是黄金宝地，遂改名金滩。[1][2]

1958年公社化后，此处归榃滨公社的金河生产大队，1959年拆分，1974年改称金河大队。1983年撤大队设乡，因县内另有同名的金河乡，改称金滩乡；1986年改为村委会，1989年设为管理区，1999年恢复村委会名称。[2]

经济[edit]

村内的产业以肉桂、松脂为主，经营上采取合作社带动农户的方式。[3]

2011年8月，本村获农业部认定，列入「第一批全国一村一品示范村镇」，产业为肉桂。2020年，村庄被评为广东省森林乡村；2021年又被列为「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。2026年1月，本村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1][3]

村中尚存文笔塔与八角楼等建筑，八角楼已改作村史馆。[3]
