围底镇位于广东省云浮市罗定市中部偏东，地处罗定盆地东部，镇政府驻围底圩，距罗定城区约12千米。镇名有两种说法：一说源于古越语，意为“新牛”；另一说以“围”为村寨、“底”为低处，即位置较低的聚落。[1][2]

2019年末户籍人口47826人；第七次全国人口普查登记的常住人口为31819人（2020年11月1日零时）。[1]

镇内列为文物保护单位的有刺史祠、邓日松大屋、陈章旧居和大沙三座屋，罗定喜来谷动植物生态园也在镇内。[2][4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

围底一带的建制几经变化。自北宋开宝六年（973年）开始，此地都归泷水县管辖，直到明万历四年（1576年）为止；明万历五年改隶罗定州。清代旧称岭南堡，后改称十二堡。[1][2]

民国时期此地为罗定县第六区。1950年改编为罗定县第二区。1958年9月，设立围底人民公社；1983年8月撤公社，改设围底区；1986年11月撤区，设围底镇。[2]

地理环境[edit]

国道G324线、云岑高速公路和罗阳高速公路穿过镇境，其中罗阳高速公路在围底设有出口。[1]

经济[edit]

百度百科称镇内工业以五金、塑料、建材等为主，博雅地名网则称乡镇企业以釉面砖、马赛克、石材为主。[1][2]

围底是粮食主产区，农业上发展了荔枝、芒果、龙眼、淡水鱼等商品生产基地，并有葛薯、香芋、松脂等特产。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

刺史祠位于古模村下古村，为陈氏宗祠，始建于明代，清初重修。祠内设一处祭台，奉祀南朝梁新石二州刺史陈法念，以及其后几代陈氏先人。该祠于1998年4月列入「罗定市第三批文物保护单位」。[4]

古模陈公宗祠同在下古村，清初重建，2007年曾重修。[2]

邓日松大屋在朗社村大寨，为清末建筑，2011年2月14日公告列入「第四批罗定市文物保护单位」。[5][2]

陈章旧居在杨村，年代为民国，属「第五批罗定市（县）级文物保护单位」。大沙三座屋在宦塘村的大沙村，建于1909年，为宅第民居类古建筑，同列入该批文物保护单位。[2]

罗定喜来谷动植物生态园位于古模村上古自然村，由原有的山塘养殖场转型而来，为「国家3A级旅游景区」。[3]
