大虾村是罗定市苹塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东部，距镇区8公里。村落约在清乾隆三十一年始建，龙氏始祖最早迁入，此后梁氏等姓迁来。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年6月设大虾生产大队，1983年8月撤大队设大虾乡，1986年11月，乡制取消，大虾设为村民委员会。1989年5月设大虾管理区，1998年9月设置大虾村委会。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

大虾双炮楼在石仁塘村，中华民国三年（1914年）落成。朝向为坐西南向东北，共两路两进；正面31.3米，纵深16.3米，占地510平方米。建筑为悬山顶，两侧外露瓦面的三层炮楼以青砖与三合土板筑。大门采用菱花形横插栊，较为少见，可供研究民国建筑时参照。[4]

2011年2月14日，该建筑列入「第四批罗定市文物保护单位」名单。[4]

文化[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予新农村、石人塘村、三队村、二队村和一队村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[2]

广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中，2019年9月，大虾村名列其中。2026年1月，大虾村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
